I think I'm missing something easy because no one else seems to be having issues or they're finding it straightforward. The #2 point above is where I'm super confused. Turn SSAA off for sharpest edges and picture. Any changes for the effects are to be made through the SweetFXsettings.txt. You will see the sweetfx.fx and reshade.fx listed and checked. Doing some additional research says that there should be an *.ini file that I should be pointing to. Click the + in the top right and create the filename, call it metro, press enter and complete the setup. fx files that I can select but none of those.
The directions here say when you click the "+" and type in a name then SweetFX.fx and ReShade.fx will show up. I'm guessing both ways get you to the same placeĢ. When I press the "Home" button the UI shows up. The directions here say to load the UI using Shift-F2 but that doesn't work. I've loaded the game and ReShade UI header shows up. I needed to use ReShade v4.9.1 as that's the latest version. It might be easy to think that its just Metro 2033 as an HD remake and a simple re-release of Metro: Last Light for a quick cash-in to go along with it. I downloaded this modification, followed the directions. This is the first time I'm using Reshade so bare that in mind. This may be an ultra dumb question so I'm hoping there is a quick/easy answer for this.
